A home in Chicago

Posted by Tim :: Ministry News

By God's amazing grace and in answer to much prayer, God has provided a house for us to stay in during the summer SALT program in Chicago. Get a load as to how He did it!

It was just like God. Time was slipping away to find any decent living arrangements for the summer. Everyone was telling us that you couldn't rent a place for as little as we were able to afford. They scoffed at our wish list for low rent, a safe place for the kids to play, some household conveniences for Kristen, and close to a train station. Even the man doing the looking in Chicago had pretty much given up hope.

I sent off a mass e-mail to my ministry partners for help and help is what I got. Tons of ideas and good leads came pouring in. One of them was a perfect fit.
We will be staying in a 3 bedroom house in the suburb of Warrenville. It's exactly what we are able to afford in rent, it's 3 blocks from a park, it has a washer and a dryer, and it's 4 miles from a train station AND Glen Arbor Community Church. Plus, it is owned by Christians.

Here's the address:
2s630 Hampton Dr.
Warrenville, IL 60555-1413

I think God likes those last minute rescues.

Praise God!! That truely is a perfect fit.
